Second Bell is an educator-led studio that builds, hosts, and supports custom software for schools. This policy covers information handled through this marketing website. Data handling inside a specific school engagement is governed by that engagement's agreement and our Data & Security posture.
What this website collects
The site uses privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics to understand traffic. We do not sell personal information, and the site is not intended to collect information from students. When you email us, we receive the contents of that message and your address so we can reply.
How we use information
We use the information you send to respond to inquiries, scope potential work, and support active engagements. We do not use it for advertising and we do not share it with third parties except service providers that help us operate the site, or where required by law.
Student data
Second Bell's default posture is to avoid handling student personally identifiable information. In school engagements, student data stays in the environment your school chooses, and we are FERPA, COPPA, and CIPA aware throughout. A data processing agreement is available and signed as required.
