A live transcript as you talk, plus a clean speaker-labeled version when you finish — running entirely on your device. No key, no cloud, no per-minute fees. Your audio never has to leave.
Notes that write themselves
Connect your own AI provider — Claude, OpenAI, OpenRouter, or a local model — and Bellnote turns raw transcripts into summaries, action items, and decisions. You bring the key and pay providers directly.
Own your notes forever
Every note is plain Markdown, with each transcript as its own linked file. Point Bellnote at your Obsidian vault and every meeting lands in your graph automatically. Readable in any editor, forever.
Meetings, detected
On the Mac, Bellnote can notice when you have joined a meeting and offer to record it, then title the note from your calendar. Read-only, and only the calendars you choose.
Private by design
No account. No analytics. No tracking. No Bellnote server in the loop for your data. API keys live in the Keychain, and by default everything stays on your device.
Local-first, and honest about it
Bellnote was built in Swift with privacy first. There is no account and no analytics. Transcription runs on-device by default, and the only time your recordings or notes leave your device is when you choose to use a cloud provider with your own API key — in which case they go straight to that provider, never through us. The details are in the privacy policy.
